<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;"><span style="color: #222222;">Union Minister of State for Finance Dr. Bhagwat Karad has said that the people of the aspirational districts like Mamit in Mizoram would overcome poverty with the help of several schemes. All these schemes have been formulated by the Centre under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi toward the elimination of poverty and the upliftment of backward districts.</span></p>''<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;"><br />''</p>''<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;"><span style="color: #222222;">The Union Minister, who arrived in Mamit district in Mizoram this afternoon on a two-day visit to the state, was addressing people of the aspirational district at its Mamit town. While gracing a camp of credit delivery outreach program, the Minister said more loans will be provided to the poor people. He said farmers, having Kisan Credit Cards are given a special provision in getting bank credits.</span></p>''<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;"><br />''</p>''<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;"><span style="color: #222222;">Referring to credit facilities available for the people, he urged people to make good use of banks and their facilities to rise from poverty. He appealed to the farmers to become aware of central insurance schemes like Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana (PMJJBY) and Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana (PMSBY). Dr. Karad said that his visit is aimed at learning more about the aspirational district Mamit, to know more about its present conditions and banking facilities in the district. Dr. Bhagwat Karad also visited the Mamit district Hospital, Anganwadi and Public Distribution Centre and listened to the problems they are facing and assured the people that he will find ways to fix their problems.</span></p>''<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;"><br />''</p>''<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;"><span style="color: #222222;">In the Credit Outreach Programme, several banks like SBI, Mizoram Rural Bank, Mizoram Cooperative Apex Bank and NABARD distributed a total of Rs. 8.02 crore credits to 560 beneficiaries in the presence of the Union Minister. In the program, MLA &nbsp;H. Lalzirliana and officials of the district administration and several banks were also present.</span></p>
