People living along IB, LoC areas witness at least 9 ceasefire violations by Pakistan daily

<span style="color: #222222;">In the Union Territory of J&K, during the last 3 years, people living along the International border and Line of Control areas are witnessing on an average of at least 09 ceasefire violations by Pakistani troops daily causing loss of lives and property.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">AIR Correspondent reports between January 2018 to July 2020, 8571 ceasefire violations were committed by Pakistani troops along the IB and LoC in Jammu and Kashmir. According to Director Security (J&K Wing), Ministry of Home Affairs, in the ceasefire violations by Pakistani troops along the IB and LoC in the Union Territory during January 2018 to July 2020, atleast 119 Indians lost their lives including 63 civilians and 56 security personnel.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">From 2010 to till date, Pakistan had violated the peace pact on borders at least 11, 572 times and resorted to cross border fire, killing 240 Indians including 122 civilians and 118 security force personnel and also injured 673 civilians and 594 security personnel. Every year the cross border shelling incidents by Pakistan on IB and LoC in J&K are increasing. In 2010, only 70 such incidents were reported that killed 2 civilians and 5 security personnel whereas in 2019 the number of Pakistan's unprovoked shelling incidents increased around 50 times killing 18 civilians and 19 security personnel. This year till July, 2952 Cross border shelling claimed lives of 15 civilians besides 38 others injured and also causing death of 8 Jawans and injuring 62 others.</span><br />''
