Punjab Energy Development Agency (PEDA) has been entrusted to solarise the Rashtrapati Bhavan, Parliament House and Rajya Sabha. In the first phase, the work for solarisation of these three most important buildings would start in the next four months.<br/><br/>PEDA Chairman Manjit Singh said that in the second phase, all the religious places in New Delhi will be equipped with Solar Energy equipments.<br/><br/>In between, the PEDA would start solarisation of Sri Harimandir Sahib, Durgiana Mandir, Jallianwala Bagh, Attari Check Post, Anandpur Sahib and Talwandi Sabo. The work will start on June 1st from Sri Harimandir Sahib. PEDA would also start producing power from next year and would contribute by generating 350 MW energy.
