In West Bengal, peaceful voting is progressing in the third phase Assembly polls in 75 seats covering Kolkata, North and South 24 Parganas districts. Over 25 per cent voting was recorded in the first three hours of polling. State Electoral Officer, Mr. Sunil Gupta said that no major untoward incident has so far been reported. Twenty-three Electronic Voting Machines have been replaced from polling booths due to technical snag.
