Peaceful environment needed to resolve all issues with Pakistan; no third party role needed

India today said that it is commited to resolving all outstanding issues with Pakistan through a peaceful bilateral dialogue in accordance with the Simla Agreement.<br/>In response to a question on US-China Joint Statement the External Affairs Ministry spokesman said that a third country role cannot be envisaged nor is it necessary.<br/>He said that India believes that a meaningful dialogue with Pakistan can take place only in an environment free from terror or the threat of terror.<br/>The joint US -China statement had said that the two sides support the improvement and growth of relations between India and Pakistan .It said that they welcome all efforts conducive to peace, stability and development in South Asia.<br/>Meanawhile, the US has said that Pakistan must dismantle terror infrastruture operating from its soil. Addressing a press conference in New Delhi today, the US Ambassador to India Timothoi J. Roemer said that Pakistan needs to recognise the internal threat it has from the terror groups operating there.<br/>Mr.Roemer said that the perpetrators of terror like 26/11 in Mumbai involving terror mind like Hafiz Sayeed and others must be brought to justice by the Pakistan Government. The Ambassador said that Washington is looking forward to Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh's visit from Tuesday when most of the issues are to be discussed.<br/>
