Jammu and Kashmir Minister for Roads and Buildings GM Saroori has said that peace is imperative for development and prosperity of Jammu and Kashmir State, adding that Union Government headed by Manmohan Singh and UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi are taking keen interest in bring lasting peace in the state. <br/> <br/>He said the resumption of dialogue with Pakistan would go a long way in creating conducive atmosphere for development in the State. He said people should appreciate the initiatives taken by Centre for maintaining friendly relations with the neighbouring country Pakistan aimed at bringing peace and prosperity in the State.<br/>
