Former Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh, Gegong Apang has been sent to seven days police remand for his alleged involvement in 1000 crore rupee PDS scam during his tenure. Earlier, Apang was arrested this morning in the capital Itanagar at about by investigation officer of Special Investigation Cell, M. S. Chauhan. Later on, he was produced before the Special Session Court in Lakhimpur and the court remanded him in police custody.
