In Jammu & Kashmir, the government formation process has not yet taken any concrete shape. <br/><br/>PDP seems to be reluctant to take final call on the matter apparently to bargain more from the national BJP leadership and the Centre. Its coalition partner in the Late Mufti Sayeed led govt BJP is awaiting PDP nod to form the new govt. <br/><br/>There is no indication of any clear date for the formation of new coalition govt as yet even as PDP spelt out its decision to continue alliance with its coalition partner BJP. The announcement of PDP on January 17 to continue alliance with BJP had set all speculations to rest on the formation of new government.<br/><br/>Chief spokesperson of PDP Naeem Akhtar told AIR that PDP is working towards taking forward the Agenda of Alliance in letter and spirit that was framed under the leadership of Late Mufti Mohammad Sayeed. BJP senior leader Dr Nirmal Singh said his Party was committed to the Agenda of Alliance. <br/><br/>Main Opposition National Conference Acting President Omar Abdullah wants PDP-BJP to jump the gun or quit the race for fresh elections in the State that is under Governor's Rule since 8th of this month. <br/><br/>Political analysts said PDP was well aware of its present political position in Kashmir region as well as feedback on the 10 month coalition tenure with BJP. <br/><br/>They said PDP President Mehbooba Mufti wants concrete assurance from the BJP's national leadership especially from the Prime Minister Narendra Modi about the implementation of Agenda of Alliance in clear terms.
