Press Council of India has constituted five sub-committees comprising members and senior journalists to monitor paid news in newspapers during the upcoming Assembly elections in four states and one union territory. <br/><br/>In its communication to the chief electoral officers of the poll-bound states, the Commission has sought their cooperation in facilitating the work of the committees including their movement and access to places of election and reporting.
