The Press Club of India, PCI today condemned the violence against media persons in Panchkula allegedly by the followers of Dera Sacha Sauda chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh who was convicted of rape by a CBI court. <br/><br/>In a statement, the PCI demanded strict action against the miscreants and said the state government should take urgent steps for the safety and security of journalists. It also demanded that the television news networks be compensated for the losses suffered by them.
