PCB bans its cricketers from participating in Afghan domestic Twenty20 league

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) today stopped its players and coaches from participating in Afghanistan's domestic Twenty20 league starting in Kabul from the 18th of next month.Kamran Akmal, Umar Akmal and Babar Azam were among those Pakistan players contracted by franchises to compete in the Shpageeza Cricket League. Ties between the Afghanistan Cricket Board and the PCB became tense in the aftermath of Wednesday's bomb attack in Kabul, which killed at least 90 people.Fllowing the attack, the Afghan board cancelled two Twenty20s matches against Pakistan that were scheduled to be played in July and August.
