The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) today appointed former Pakistan captain Inzamam-ul-Haq, as the new chief selector. Inzamam is a veteran of 120 tests and 398 one-day internationals. This follows Inzamam's resignation as head coach of the Afghanistan cricket team. The PCB had dissolved the previous selection committee after Pakistan fared badly in the Asia Cup and World T20.
