Home Minister P Chidambaram today inspected the Commonwealth Games village to take stock of the preparedness and security arrangements. He was accompanied by Village Mayor Dalbir Singh and other officials of the Organising Committee.According to officials, Chidambaram also visited residential complexes and saw practice and dining facilities inside the Games Village spread in 63.5 hectares area.He also spoke to senior police officials in-charge of security of the village.
