In the Premier Badminton League, Indian shuttler K.Srikanth has earned his maiden victory over former world no. 1 Lee Chong Wei. In a match played at Mumbai yesterday, Srikanth played aggressively against the Malaysian Wei and pulled off a fine 15-12, 6-15,15-7 win. But this could not prevent his team Bengaluru Top Guns from going down to Hyderabad Hunters 2-3.In another tie, PV Sindhu's Chennai Smashers upset hosts Mumbai Rockets 4-3. World no.12 Sindhu defeated Han Li 15-8, 11-15, 15-8 in the women's singles match of the tie. This is the second season of PBL, which is the highest prize money badminton tournament in the world. Hyderabad Hotshots had won the inaugural title in 2013.
