The Chairman of the Seventh Central Pay Commission, Justice Ashok Kumar Mathur said the recommendations of the pay panel have narrowed down the gap among various pay bands and grade salaries. In an exclusive interview to All India Radio, Justice Mathur said the interests of pensioners have been addressed. <br/><br/>He also said that the recommendation regarding one rank one pension, OROP, to civilian staff is historic and it will provide justice to all. The Commission has also addressed the demands of agitating ex-servicemen about OROP.
