Pawar denies any connection with IPL row

Former BCCI President and Union Minister Mr Sharad Pawar have denied any connection with the IPL controversy. Talking to reporters outside Parliament, Mr Pawar said he is in no way connected with the issue. According to sources, BCCI President Shashank Manohar is in the National Capital to hold discussion with Mr Pawar in the wake of the raging controversy surrounding the Indian Premier League. Manohar's visit comes amid reports that the top brass of BCCI are planning to remove Lalit Modi from the post of IPL Commissioner and Chairman. Meanwhile, Cricket Board has also rescheduled its Working Committee meeting from April 24 to May 2 as it wants the IPL Governing Council meeting to first discuss the issue. The council is expected to meet on April 26, a day after the IPL final match.
