Patnaik today said ruling Biju Janata Dal MLA Jhina Hikaka who was released by Maoists unharmed recently should not resign under pressure. He said there was no reasons for a person elected democratically to step down from his post under pressure from Maoists.Speaking to media persons at Bhubaneswar, the Odisha Chief Minister said he is eagerly waiting to meet Hikaka at Bhubaneswar within a day or two and discuss the issue with him. The 37-year-old tribal MLA from Laxmipur in Koraput district was released 34 days after he was abducted from the same district by the ultras.
