The Patna High Court today dismissed an appeal by controversial RJD leader and its former MP Mohammad Shahabuddin against the life sentence awarded to him by a Siwan court in an acid attack case which took place 13 years ago.<br/><br/>The case relates to the killing of two brothers by drenching them in acid at Siwan in 2004 allegedly on the directions of Shahabuddin over a property dispute. <br/><br/>The appeal was dismissed by a division bench comprising justices K K Mandal and Sanjay Kumar.<br/><br/>Satish and Girish were drenched in acid and shot dead in that incident. The third brother Rajiv was killed when he was returning home on a motorcycle.<br/><br/>Their father Chandrakeshwar Prasad had approached the court for action against Shahabuddin. <br/><br/>A Siwan district court had awarded him life sentence in 2015 in the acid attack case.
