The Patna High Court today ordered a CBI probe into alleged financial irregularities related to utilisation of 1,100 crore rupees for execution of several development schemes by the Bihar government from 2002 to 2008.<br/><br/>Hearing a PIL a division bench comprising Chief Justice R M Doshit and justice S K Katriyar asked the CBI director and joint director to appear before it on July 26 for rendering assistance in the case to be monitored by it. <br/><br/>The Bench said, going by the reports of Comptroller and Auditor General highlighting the irregularities, it is left with no other option but to handing over the probe into the allegation of financial irregularities to CBI.
