The Maharashtra Home Minister R. R. Patil, along with Opposition Leader Eknath Khadse today met Ajmal Amir Kasab, the lone caught terrorist in 26/11 Mumbai Attacks in Mumbai’s Arthur road jail. Patil made the visit to observe the Jail administration. He appreciated the jail administration for maintaining good system despite having undersized man power for handling around 750 prisoners. R. R. Patil said that all the court orders in the context of Kasab are being followed properly. He also added that there are satisfactory provisions of security but he is also thinking about transferring few prisoners to other jails. This visit was to confirm the Opposition party’s allegations with reference to the security provisions of Kasab.
