Heavy Industries Minister Praful Patel today said that he will take a delegation of the automobile industry to Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and Finance Minister P. Chidambaram to discuss the possibility of a stimulus for the sector. Talking to reporters on the sidelines of an event in New Delhi, he said, the slowdown in auto sales is challenging and makes for a genuine case for stimulus for the sector. Mr. Patel said, he is in constant touch with the Government and will arrange for a meeting of the industry with the Prime Minister and Finance Minister so that the concerns can expressed clearly and a way forward can be found.
