<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;"><span style="color: #222222;">Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitaraman has said that for the past nine years, the Narendra Modi-led Government had started one college every week.</span></p>''<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;"><span style="color: #222222;"><br />''</span></p>''<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;"><span style="color: #222222;">Speaking at the convocation at Vel's University near Chennai, she said that each year a new &nbsp;IIT was established every year in the Country.&nbsp; Comparing the NDA regime since 2014, she said that the number of universities in the country has increased from 720 to 1133.</span></p>''<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;"><br />''</p>''<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;"><span style="color: #222222;">The Finance Minister also said that the number of seats in MBBS has increased from 51 thousand 348 to 99 thousand 763. She informed that the number of medical colleges has increased from 387 to 700. Ms. Nirmala Sitaraman said that four lakh 28 thousand people had secured employment till October last year. The Minister asserted that &nbsp;1000 Atal tinkering labs have been created in 700 districts to increase the skilled force in the country.</span></p>
