Passenger confidence in travelling by air improved after introduction of contactless processing: Survey

A survey conducted by Kempegowda International Airport management in Bengaluru has revealed that passenger confidence in travelling by air has improved after introduction of contactless processing and robust sanitisation measures.<br />''<br />''According to the results announced today in a press release, the survey has found out that the intent to fly during the pandemic has improved from a mere 13 percent during April to 33 percent in July. Initially 21 percent of the respondents in the survey expressed concern about airport safety and hygiene checks and this concern declined to six percent later.<br />''<br />'' The survey further found out that acceptance of Arogya Setu e-pass improved from 49 percent to 86 percent. The survey was conducted between April and July in which 6098 passengers had responded.<br />
