Urban Development Minister Venkaiah Naidu has said, the passage of the Real Estate Bill is on the top of government's agenda. Talking to reporters in New Delhi today, Mr Naidu said he has written to the Rajya Sabha Chairman urging him to put the bill in the priority list today.<br/><br/>The bill is aimed at protecting the interest of the buyers and sellers. It proposes to regulate transactions between buyers and promoters of real estate projects, and set up state-level regulatory authorities to oversee the sector.
