Paryatan Parv to highlight benefits of tourism concludes today

Finance Minister Arun Jaitley today emphasized on the need to market the historical monuments globally to attracts tourists. <br/><br/>Addressing the Closing Ceremony of the 21 days Paryatan Parv in New Delhi Mr Jaitley said, tourism has become world over one of the most economic resources. <br/><br/>The event was organised by the Tourism Ministry in collaboration with Central Ministries and State Governments with the objective to highlight the benefits of tourism, showcasing the cultural diversity of the country and reinforcing the principle of 'Tourism for All'. <br/><br/><br/>AIR correspondent reports, India Gate lawns witnessed a grand finale of Paryatan Parv. Over half a million people participated in the Paryatan Parv in the length and breadth of the country celebrating tourism – Dekho Apna Desh. <br/><br/>The event spanning three weeks concluded tonight with spectacular performances by artists those who have congregated here from different parts of the country. <br/><br/>The parv, organised in collaboration with different state governments and central ministries received huge response from general public. No doubt, this parv will give a huge boost to domestic tourism in the country.<br/><br/>
