Indian ace male shuttler, Parupalli Kashyap reached his career-best ranking in the Badminton World Federation rankings released today. Despite losing his men's singles first round match at the India Open Super Series in New Delhi yesterday, London Olympics quarterfinalist Kashyap managed to jump a place. Seventeen year old P.V.Sindhu also reached her career- best ranking at No.15 in the women's singles while Indian shuttle queen Saina Nehwal retained her number two spot. RMV Gurusaidutt and Sourabh Verma also jumped two places each. Gurusaidutt now ranks 33 while Sourabh 36. Ajay Jayaram, who is highest ranked Indian male shuttler after Kashyap, kept his 30th position.
