Party will contest next Odisha assembly polls alone: Amit Shah

BJP National President Amit Shah has announced that his party will contest the next Odisha assembly polls alone. He claimed that in the coming Assembly elections, the party will win 120 seats and form government in the state. <br/>'<br/>In a Press Conference in Bhubaneswar last evening, Mr Shah levelled allegations of corruption and inefficiency over the BJD Government. He said, the Centre gave four lakh crore rupees central assistance to Odisha, which is highest during last 70 years, yet there is no significant development in the state. <br/>'<br/>Sharpening his attack on the state government, Mr Shah alleged that people associated closely with the government were involved in scandals. He said, on assuming power, the party will ensure that all the culprits of mines scam and Chit Fund Scam are punished. <br/>' <br/>Senior BJD leaders, however, countered the allegations, and alleged that the Central Government has withdrawn some schemes from Odisha. They said that Mr Amit Shah has tried to mislead the people of state. AIR correspondent reports that the issue rocked the State Assembly today as the BJD leaders raised slogans against BJP leaders' alleged partisan attitude, and disrupted the procedings of the House.
