<span style="color: #222222;">Karnataka Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa today clarified that the Party Central leadership had discussed with him before finalizing the names of two party workers as candidates for Rajya Sabha polls from the state scheduled on 19th of June. &nbsp;<br />'' <br />'' He said, BJP Central leaders have given Rajya Sabha tickets to two ordinary workers and thereby have given a gift to party workers, for this he complimented Prime Minister Narednra Modi, Party National President J P Nadda and Home Minister Amit Shah.<br />'' <br />'' Speaking to media persons in Bengaluru today, he expressed confidence of both the candidates emerging victorious. He further said that only BJP can take such decisions and give opportunity to ordinary workers in the party.<br />'' <br />'' Meanwhile, BJP candidates Irrena Kadadi and Ashoka Gasti filed their nominations today for the Rajya Sabha election. Former Prime Minister and Janata Dal (Secular) Chief H.D. Deva Gowda also have filed his nomination papers today. The lone Congress candidate and former Union Minister Mallikarjuna Kharge filed his nomination yesterday.</span><br />'' &nbsp;<br />
