Congress, Left, DMK, NCP, RJD and other parties today protested on demonetization in Parliament premises. These MPs, joined by Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi, displayed posters and shouted slogans against the move and problems faced by the people in various places of the country.<br/><br/>Congress leader Mallikarjun Kharge, Mohd. Salim of CPI(M), Supriya Sule of NCP and Jay Prakash Narayan Yadav of RJD were among others, who participated in the protest. <br/>Earlier, Rahul Gandhi criticised Prime Minister on the issue reiterating his party's demand for Narendra Modi's reply in Parliament on demonetisation. <br/><br/>Meanwhile, Union Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh criticised opposition parties for their protests. Speaking to media outside Parliament, Dr. Singh described the protest as against the people of the country who have supported demonetisation.
