Particulate Matter levels decline further: Harsh Vardhan

Particulate Matter levels in Delhi and NCR have declined further due to improvement in weather conditions and measures taken by implementing agencies at ground level. <br/><br/>Environment Minister Dr Harsh Vardhan today said, the PM level reached Very Poor category as compared to severe category yesterday. <br/><br/>He said, at 4 PM today, PM10 was recorded at 316 micrograms and PM2.5 at 206 micrograms per cubic metre. Dr Harsh Vardhan further said, all the measures and actions initiated by various agencies will be pursued vigorously. <br/><br/>The Minister also said, the hotspots have been already identified for local control measures, including sprinkling of water, regulation of construction activities, dust mitigation, as well as other actions for control measures. <br/><br/>He said, the actions are being reviewed on a daily basis for getting feedback on the actions initiated by the implementing agencies.
