Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar will inaugurate and hoist the highest National Flag at Pahari Mandir of Ranchi today on the occasion of birth anniversary of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose. The National Flag will be 493 feet high from the ground and the height of pole on the hill is 293 feet. AIR correspondent reports that the National flag, weighing 80 kg, will remain hoisted 24-hours everyday after today's inauguration.<br/><br/>Defence Minister will also lay foundation stone through video-conferencing of a Defence University at Khunti in Jharkhand.<br/><br/>
