<span style="color: #222222;">A Parliamentary panel has recommended that all the provisions of Civil Aviation Regulations should be strictly enforced so the passengers are not inconvenienced. <br />''<br />''It also strongly recommended that in the case of cancellation or delay of flights, a provision should be compulsorily made by airlines to provide a waiting hall or VIP lounge for the passengers and food, water and snacks should also be served to them. The expenses for the same should be borne by the concerned airlines.<br />''<br />'' The department-related Parliamentary Standing Committee on Transport, Tourism and Culture headed by T. G. Venkatesh today presented its report in Parliament. The report also urged the Civil Aviation ministry to do a ground survey of all the airports and check whether the Directorate General of Civil Aviation guidelines in this regard are being followed or not.<br />''<br />''The Committee also observed that food and beverage prices are very expensive at all airport food outlets. Tea, coffee and refreshments may be available at reasonable cost, affordable to a common man. <br />''<br />''The &nbsp;Committee recommended that the ministry or Airport Authority of India should ensure that its Circular on food prices is being strictly followed at all the airports and packaged food is not sold at higher that Maximum Retail Price.</span><br />
