A Parliamentary Delegation from Mexico led by President of Chamber of Deputies in Congress of Mexico Guadalupa Murguia Gutierres called on President Ram Nath Kovind at Rashtrapati Bhavan today. <br/><br/>Welcoming the delegation, Mr Kovind said, India and Mexico are important political and economic partners and share deep democratic traditions. <br/><br/>He congratulated the delegation on the centenary of the adoption of the Mexican Constitution. He thanked Mexico for its support for India's candidature to the Nuclear Suppliers Group. He also said there is scope for further bilateral cooperation in areas such as solar energy and space technology. <br/><br/>The President pointed out that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had concluded a successful visit to Mexico in 2016. He added that India is looking forward to the visit of Mexican President Enrique Pe'a Nieto.
