Parliamentarians of Nepal have demanded immediate distribution of grant to 2015 earthquake survivors for re-construction of houses. During the zero and special hour today some members drew the attention of the government towards delay in distribution of grant. They said that tens of thousands of households have not yet received the housing grant even after 27 months of Gorkha earthquake. <br/><br/>Some lawmakers urged the government to declare Tarai region as drought-hit area and help the farmers who have not been able to sow paddy crop due to lack of rains. Some members also raised the issue of monkey menace and said that necessary measures should be taken to control it as farmers of most of the hilly districts have been victimised by the monkeys.
