Both the Houses of Parliament have been adjourned till 2 PM over different issues. While the Lok Sabha was first adjourned till noon and then till 2pm over the the opposition insisting an apology from Sudeep Bandhopadhya of Trinamool Congress over his remarks about CPIM leader Basudev Acharya yesterday and the 2G spectrum issue, it was Manishankar's comment in Rajya Sabha about the leader of the opposition Mr Arun Jaitley on Monday that led to the adjournment there. <br/>In Lok Sabha although the Speaker expressed her displeasure over the remarks by Sudeep Bandhopadya as unbecoming of a parliamentarian the opposition wanted nothing less than an apology. The leader of the house, Mr Pranab Mukherjee said that many a times tempers of the members run high leading to exchange of hot words and urged that the matter should rest after the Speaker's observation. Earlier, the AIADMK members had also raised the issue of alleged scam in the allocation of 2G spectrum. The Speaker adjourned the house. <br/>The remark by Mr Aiyer on Mr Jaitley again surfaced in the Rajya Sabha today with the BJP members insisting on an apology from the nominated member. The issue was first raised by Mr Venkaiah Naidu during the question hour and then during Zero Hour. Describing the remark as abusive, Mr Naidu said that opposition was willing to accept nothing less than an apology. The Deputy Chairman, Mr K Rehman Khan said that the remarks have already been expunged and the Chair cannot force any member to apologise. This did not appease the agitating opposition members, who trooped into the well of the house, raising pitch over the issue and the house was adjourned till 2 PM. Earlier, the house was adjourned for 20 minutes during the question hour when the BJP members raised pitch demanding that the Home Minister reply a supplementary raised by its member, which the Chair observed, did not relate to the main question.<br/>
