Both the Houses of Parliament resumed this afternoon following adjournments over issues like Telangana, Mullaperiyar Dam and 2G spectrum allocations. While the Rajya Sabha has taken up discussion on the Prasar Bharati (Broadcasting Corporation of India) Amendment Bill 2010, the Lok Sabha has taken a discussion on price rise.

Earlier, both the Houses of Parliament were adjourned till 2 P.M. As soon as the Lok Sabha met for the day, BJP led opposition members trooped into the well of the House demanding the resignation of the Home minister P Chidambaram for his alleged role in the 2 G spectrum issue.

Repeated appeal by the Speaker Ms Meira Kumar did not pacify the agitating members. Later, she adjourned the House till noon.

As the House reassembled , the AIADMK members trooped into the well of the House demanding the resignation of Home Minister Mr. P. Chidambaram. The Speaker adjourned the House till 2 P.M.

Similar noisy scenes were witnessed in the Rajya Sabha. During the question hour some BJP members rose in their places and demanded the resignation of the Home minister P Chidambaram for his alleged role in the 2 G spectrum issue.

Repeated appeal by the Chairman did not pacify the agitating members.

Mohammad Hamid Ansari adjourned the House till noon. As the House reassembled, agitating NDA members trooped into the well forcing the Chair to adjourn the House till 2 P.M.
