Parliament has passed the Central Agricultural University Bill with the Rajya Sabha adopting it today by voice vote without discussion. <br/><br/>The main Act provides for the establishment of a University in the north eastern region for the development of agriculture, and advancement of research in agriculture and allied sciences. <br/><br/>The amendment brings Nagaland under the ambit of Central Agricultural University. The Lok Sabha has already passed it.
