Parliament today paid tributes to the Polish President Lech Zaczynski, his wife and other members of Polish Senate who died in a plane crash recently.<br/><br/>Paying tributes to the leader, the Speaker Mrs Meira Kumar and Chairman of Rajya Sabha M Hamid Ansari described him as an outstanding statesman who was personally committed to promoting good relations with India.<br/><br/>Polish President Lech Zaczynski, his wife Maria, and many top military and political leaders died on Saturday in a plane crash in western Russia.<br/><br/>The Lok Sabha also paid tributes to three former members who passed away during the intersession period.<br/><br/>The members also paid tributes to 75 paramilitary personnel of CRPF killed in Dantewada massacre besides those who lost their lives in tornado that swept through Assam, Bihar and West Bengal.<br/><br/>The members stood in silence as mark of respect to the departed.
