The Lok Sabha was adjourned sine die today. Before adjourning, the House could conduct some of its listed business amidst turmoil. The BJP and Treasury Bench members shouted slogans and counter slogans.

The Rajya Sabha was adjourned for the second time till 12.45 hours amidst uproar. The Samajwadi Party members trooped into the well of the House, protesting against quota in promotions for the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes in government jobs.

The BJP members, on the other hand, continued protesting against the coal blocks allocation issue.
