Congress President Sonia Gandhi today met Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan in her chamber. Ms. Gandhi's brief meeting with the Speaker came in the backdrop of continuous logjam in Parliament over demonetization issue. <br/><br/>However, later Congress made it clear that there has been no toning down of its demand for having a discussion on demonetisation under the rule entailing voting in Lok Sabha and ensuring the presence of the Prime Minister during the debate in Rajya Sabha.<br/><br/> Party spokesperson Abhishek Singhvi alleged that ruling side is scared of voting despite a comfortable majority.
