Finance Minister Arun Jaitley has said Parliament is the authority on spending public money and the government will stick to this. Mr Jaitley was responding to queries raised by some members in the Rajya Sabha today on Supreme Court's remarks on the former MPs in regard to pensionary benefits. <br/><br/>Naresh Agarwal of the Samajwadi Party raised the issue. Jairam Ramesh of the congress said the observation by the court is very serious. He was supported by several other members.
