Parliament has passed the National Capital Territory of Delhi (Recognition of Property Rights of Residents in Unauthorized Colonies) Bill, 2019 with the Rajya Sabha approving it yesterday. The legislation has already been cleared by the Lok Sabha.<br />''<br />''The bill provides for a legal framework to grant ownership rights to more than 40 lakh people living in unauthorised colonies in Delhi.
