Both the Houses of Parliament were adjourned for the day, as opposition continuing its demand for a JPC probe into the 2G Spectrum allocation and other corruption cases. The Presiding Officers of the Lok Sabha and the Rajya Sabha adjourned the houses first till noon and later for the day. This is the tenth consecutive day as stalemate continued over the 2G spectrum issue with both the government and Opposition refusing to budge from their positions. It was the repeat of scenes witnessed since the Winter Session began on November 9, with members of Opposition parties rushing to the well in both the Lok Sabha and the Rajya Sabha to demand JPC probe into 2G spectrum scam.
