Both Houses of Parliament have been adjourned for the day following uproar over the illegal mining issue in Karnataka and few other issues. While the Rajya Sabha was adjourned first for 15 minutes, then till noon and finally for the day, the Lok Sabha was also adjourned thrice first till noon then 2 PM and then for the day. The trouble started from the word go in both the houses, when members belonging to JD(S), Samajwadi Party and BSP trooped into the well of the house, carrying placards raising slogans demanding the dismissal of the Karnataka Government on mining issue. The RJD and LJP members were also raising pitch over the reported clean chit by the CBI to Gujarat Chief Minister, Narendra Modi in Sohrabuddin encounter case alleging a deal between the Congress and the BJP. The Left parties also protested against the tabling of the Standing Committee report on Civil Nuclear Liability.’The RJD and LJP members also staged a dharana outside Parliament House.
