Both the Houses of Parliament have been adjourned for one hour till noon on Telangana and Tamil Fishermen issues. In the Lok Sabha, as soon as House met for the day, members belonging to Congress and Telugu Desam from Andhra Pradesh, rushed to the well of the House raising slogans against the bifurcation of the State.

Members from the Tamil Nadu also came to the well seeking the release of the Tamil fishermen arrested by Sri Lankan Navy. Following noisy scenes, Speaker Meira Kumar adjourned the House till noon.

The situation was no different in the Rajya Sabha. The agitating members rushed to the well forcing Chairman Mohammed Hamid Ansari to adjourn the House for one hour.
