Both the Houses of Parliament were adjourned till noon as soon as they met for the day today.

In the Lok Sabha, the DMK members trooped into the well displaying placards on the alleged betrayal of Sri Lankan Tamils at the voting in the UN Human Rights Council meeting in Geneva yesterday.

In the Rajya Sabha, the AIADMK members silently squatted in the well of the House. They were displaying pictures of the killed son of the former LTTE Chief Pirbhakaran.

However, the DMK members surged in the well raising slogans that the Government had betrayed the Tamils in Sri Lanka at the UN meet.
As noisy scenes continued, the Presiding Officers adjourned the Houses till noon.
