Opposition BJP today stalled the proceedings of both the Houses of Parliament on the appointment of the Lokayukta in Gujarat. The Lok Sabha was adjourned for the third time till 4 PM as there was no change in the situation.Noisy scenes were witnessed and opposition members trooped into the well to press for their demand before every adjournment forcing the Presiding Officer to adjourn it. The Samajwadi Party members also raised the issue of the killing of two lawyers in Uttar Pradesh.The Rajya Sabha, which was adjourned finally for the day, had witnessed two adjournments earlier. BJP members continued to raise their demand of the validity of the appointment of the Lokayukta in Gujarat by the Governor.
