These were passed by the Lok Sabha yesterday. The landmark bill to set up National Identification Authority was also introduced in the Rajya Sabha. The Lok Sabha was adjourned, first till noon, then till 3.30 PM and finally for the day. The Rajya Sabha, on the other hand was first adjourned for an hour, then till 2.30 PM and ultimately for the day. The private members business also could not be transacted in both the houses.
