The proceedings in Parliament continued to be disrupted for the 15th day today on 2G issue. Both the Houses of parliament, which were earlier adjourned till noon, were adjourned for the day fallowing continued uproar on demand for JPC probe.As the Lok Sabha and the Rajya Sabha began the day, the members of the angry opposition raised slogans to press their demand for a JPC probe.The Lok Sabha yesterday passed the supplementary demands for grant and appropriation bills amidst din while in the Rajya Sabha only papers could be laid on the table of the House. The government and the opposition continued to stick to their positions on the spectrum issue.The Congress has renewed its offer to hold discussions on the floor of the House as government is ready to give more powers to public accounts committee to look into the issue. Speaking to media outside Parliament, Party leader Digvijay Singh charged the BJP with shielding its alleged corrupt Chief Ministers in Karnataka and Madhya Pradesh. BJP says there is no question of compromise on their demand of a JPC probe.Meanwhile, the Congress today charged BJP of behaving like Maoists as they are stalling the functioning of the Parliament.Talking to reporters outside Parliament, party spokesman Manish Tiwari said such an attitude is not in the interest of parliamentary democracy.Reacting to Congress charge, BJP spokesperosn Prakash Javadekar urged Congress to accept the demand of JPC as majority of the members are in its favour.
