Both the Houses of Parliament could not transact any legislative business on Wednesday as BSP members stalled the proceedings.

The Lok Sabha and the Rajya Sabha were adjourned for the day after witnessing repeated adjournments.

In the Lok Sabha, BSP members who stalled the proceedings were demanding disclosure of the names of the people involved in coal blocks allocations.

In the Rajya Sabha, their party colleagues wanted normal functioning of the House.

BSP has been demanding the passage of the Constitution Amendment Bill, 2012, providing reservation in promotions for SCs and STs in Government Jobs.
